CAPE BRETON, NS – The QMJHL selection committee for the 2008 ADT Canada Russia Challenge has announced that forward Nick MacNeil of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles has been named to the roster for the game on Monday November 17, 2008. Michael Stinziani, also of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, who was named to the roster for Team QMJHL on Saturday is unable to play after he sustained an injury in a weekend game in Baie-Comeau.
The first game of the ADT Canada Russia Challenge will take place on Monday, November 17 at Centre 200 while the second QMJHL hosted game will be held on Wednesday November 19 at Harbour Station in Saint John. Of note, this event plays an important role in the selection process of Canada's 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship team that will compete in Ottawa, ON.
